Well... That figures. Just about the time I finally get to where I can draw stuff well...

Though it looks like it's only reading what's happening optically, but still. How long before we can truly see what is behind on another's eyes.

Or if you want a creepier thought... If we can get signal out, we can probably get signal in.

Mind you. Cool possibilities for having an in-head head's-up display and for always having a camera with you and playing Solitaire while driving and other foolish things.

Oh brave new world...

Oh yeah, because we do need more people doing more stuff with their brainz while driving. I think there should be a requirement on that one... you should have enough of a brain to be able to spare some. The drivers around here.... please allah no!

In the future, we'll be able to read images directly from brains, but only when using a 700 Mhz Power Mac G4 with a Zip drive, apparently. Who knew?

Joy! I actually have that Mac right here in the office! And it's got the amazing 1.0 Ghz upgrade, so I can scan brainz even faster!!!

I really would like to know how DEEP they're scanning... are they just using the eyes as a camera or are they scanning further back into the image processing areas of the brain? Fascinating... (though I feel their exuberance about scanning DREAMS is probably VERY farfetched...)
