Sometimes I'm really mean... And yet, I always feel like when I am, it's usually deserved. Coming home from school Saturday, there was some balding fat middle-aged guy in a red sports car that was a TTS model. (I think it was an audi) Anyhow... He was playing his radio loud and had his windows down and kept peeling out at the lights only to get stopped at the next one... Now his liscense plate said, 'HOT TTS'... So... I pulled up next to him at the light, rolled down my window, waved to him and shouted, "Hiya Hot Tits!" and grinned and waved, then drove off.... Mean, no?
In other randomness, been watching IFC all day while working on comics. Watched the movie, 'Agnes Browne', which I think
kibbles would like quite a bit.
Hee. So. Stacey and I went out for a walk yesterday to spend some time together and get some sunshine. We went to downtown Moutain View and wandered around. Found a GREAT bead store with all kinds of stuff that really inspired me as props for stop-motion stuff. Also found a pretty good second-hand bookstore... Although I saw something that NO HUMAN MIND WAS MENT TO READ ... Lesbian Erotica by Gertrude Stein. Glark. Hee. Speaking of lesbians, we got yelled at too. We were holding hands and some woman shouted out of her car angrily at us, "THIS ISN'T SAN FRANSISCO!!!" ... Of course, what made this really funny is that the 'downtown' street in Mountain View is, 'Castro Street'. Heh. We should get back up to the city for a day trip again sometime soon. Haven't done that in quite a while. Anyhow, I'm babbling and it's past my bedtime.

Date: 2003-04-21 03:41 am (UTC)I don't think I have ever seen two women (or men) spoken to for holding hands. But then it is acceptable here not so much that I am in oh-so-friendly NYC, but because of all the immigrants. Russians especially seem to like to hold onto each other, walking hand in hand and arm in arm. Some of my neighbors do that with me! It still boggles the mind, for me, that people do that.
See, even some people very conservative like my parents, would find it rude to say something like that. If my parents found it offensive (not that they would), they would cluck and say something to each other. That was crass.
Of course yelling HOT TITS is kinda out there too! And me, look at me, I was thinking hot tiny, tiny sex! (cybersex with mice?)
Can you tell I just woke up? I should eat the ears off a bunny. . .I'll be lucid, then.
