Well. Another Halloween has come and gone. *sigh* This year was really pretty blue. Been working and going to school so much I didn't really have time to make costumes or decorate much. We carved pumpkins late late Wednsday night. That'd be the high point of the holiday this year. I did a fancy pumpkin this year. I think it came out pretty well.

We set up lights in the trees, strobe lights, lights on the walk,
put out pumpkins and stuff, but we only got about six trick-o-treaters. :( Really disappointing. When I was a kid, we'd run around half the night trick or treating. I really enjoy seeing all the kids costumes. I guess its another thing I'll just have to miss about my old house. *sigh* I hate the city. Really makes me feel rotten about humanity that a few sick people have ruined so much for so many.

I guess the other high point of my holiday would be cooking. I roasted the seeds from the pumpkins we had and I made a pretty decent stir fry with the pieces we cut out of the pumpkins for the faces. Hope everyone else had a better holiday.

We got about 35. Then again, we put out the universal candy signal (a pumpkin) early enough that the kids knew we would be there. Sorry to hear it was a washout. You're welcome to come play with our trick or treaters next year if you wanna.

Oh I would LOVE to be around people who give out candy! Secular holidays aren't celebrated in my Orthodox neighbohood, so we have to go around my parent's house. The pumpkin is gorgeous
