Secret Societies

Its getting that time of year when I think about putting stuff in the FC artshow again. The year before last when I put stuff in I actually made pretty decent money despite being something of an unknown. I think that I need to develop more name recognition though. As such, I suspect I need to join a few secret societies. Can anyone tell me about the Furry Free Art Exchange? What about places to post art where you can get peer review? I know Yerf does this but I suspect I'd be rejected if I submitted to Yerf. Still. Might be worth trying. Can anyone recommend places that might be good for enhancing familiarity a bit?

... I guess I should also work up some business cards one of these days that aren't the ones I use for my real job. I wonder if I can distill myself down to a symbol and less than 20 words... That's an interesting challenge.

I am really hoping to be able to sell a DVD of my work at FC2004 so I should probably bump up the priority on this stuff if I want to turn a profit.

Ok, you can go to:

http://www.artsig.com an art review site (by peers).

http://yna.solfire.org mostly furry but still a peer review site.

http://artattack.to another peer review site.

http://www.deviantart.com another one.

Artsig can get you good crits, but not many. (There is also a photosig.)
YNA is some pretty amazing furry crits, but if you arent doing furry work, they dont quite know what to make of it.

artattack is a nice community, not much photography so I'm not getting a lot of critiques. But the artists in other mediums are getting attention.

Deviantart is to get your name out there, the critiques are mostly OOOH HOW NICE I LOVE IT! But everyone is on it.

Velar I've only viewed, not joined.
